Welcome to Kathmandu, a vibrant city in Nepal! This is a country where culture and nature are intertwined with each other. After you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative staff will pick you up in a private vehicle and escort you to your hotel. Spend the day getting ready for the Mardi Himal trek adventure you have come to experience. You can shop for the essentials required for the trek around the local markets. Depending on your arrival time, we will brief you about the trek at our office or at your hotel. Enjoy a comfortable sleep at the hotel.

After a delicious breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara, one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. Pokhara is famous for its beautiful lakes and magnificent views of the mountains. It takes 6-8 hours of driving, full of spectacular views. You will get to see snow-capped mountains such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Manaslu. On the way, enjoy the green hills, rice terraces and traditional Nepali villages. You can reach Pokhara via domestic flight also, but we haven’t included a flight in this package. Once you arrive at Pokhara, check in at your hotel. You can rest there after a long journey. Later stroll around Phewa Lake for peacetime or enjoy in musical environments of clubs and bars.

After an exciting breakfast, a private transfer will take us to Kande, taking around 30 minutes. The Mardi Himal Trek starts from Kande officially. Then, we start our 4-hour trek from the Australian Camp Trailhead through the stunning village of Pothana to reach Pitam Deurali. Again, you will walk through some beautiful rhododendron forests, thick bamboo groves and vibrant greenery. With the gaining of Pitam Deurali, the surrounding view starts to be overwhelmingly rewarding. This small village offers a spectacular view of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges, making the day’s effort worth it.

Today, the Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri and Hiunchuli mountains greet your morning, as you enjoy your breakfast at Pitam Deurali. We then head to Forest Camp, which is 2,600 meters high and takes around 6 hours through rhododendron and pine forests. Relish the fresh mountain air along with the chirps and other sounds of nature that accompany us as we reach our destination. Gradually, the trail climbs along oak and hemlock forest and opens up to a fine clearing in the forest. At Forest Camp, take time to rest and enjoy a meal under the shade of the trees. Dine and overnight at a friendly teahouse surrounded by the tranquility of the forest.

Today you will trek to High Camp, which means an altitude gain of 3,580 meters. It is a 6-hour journey with breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare Mountains. We start with steep ascents through thick rhododendron forests, passing through freshly colored flowers and breathing in cool mountain air. The more the altitude gain, the steeper and rockier the trail gets. But, all this becomes worth it with the breathtaking scenery. Arrive at High Camp and check into a comfortable teahouse. Warm up with a good meal and enjoy panoramic mountain views in preparation for the following day's adventure.

Get up early in the morning for the magical sunrise from Poon Hill. It will be an experience to watch as the sky lights up with outstanding views of Mt. Nilgiri, Mt. Annapurna I and other Annapurna Range. You will descend to High Camp after sunrise views for breakfast. Then, the most important thing today is hiking to Mardi Himal Base Camp, which is located at 4,500 meters. This 7-hour trek will take you up over the rocky slopes with breathtakingly beautiful snowy landscapes. You will get great views of the peaks such as Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and Machapuchare. After reaching Base Camp, head to High Camp and then trek down to Low Camp at 3,050 meters. Reach Low Camp where you will stay at a teahouse, having a good meal.

On day 7 of your Mardi Himal Trek, you will trek from Low Camp to the beautiful village of Lwang at 1,560 meters. You will have a view-filled walk upwards trekking through dense forests, terraces, and villages. Enjoy your hike with the interaction of colors with the forests of rhododendrons mixed with bamboo groves over snow-bleached peaks. You will finally arrive in Lwang after 6 hours of walking. Lwang is a destination with as warm hospitality as any other place in Nepal and rich culture. After some time, drive back to Pokhara and check into your hotel. Relax and enjoy the evening by Phewa Lake or explore the lively markets of Pokhara.

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu which takes 6 to 8 hours. While driving back, again you get to see great views of the Himalayas and the beautiful countryside. On the return to the capital, the private car or bus will make the serene landscape comfortable. As you reach Kathmandu, check into a hotel and relax. You can go in for some souvenir hunting, have dinner at a restaurant of your choice or enjoy city life in all its vibrancy. Later in the evening, a farewell dinner will be hosted to commemorate the end of Mardi trekking.

Having had a healthy breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Nepal. Depending on your flight schedule, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.
